Obaidul Quader Slams BNP

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader criticized BNP on Wednesday, claiming that the party 's strategy is to hold itself at a safe distance during any crisis.

"After no movement has taken place, BNP leaders are always trying to take advantage of the situation and their General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul, is trying to confuse the people," he said in an online briefing on current issues from his residence.

The Minister of Road, Transport, and Bridges urged everyone to be patient and to maintain strict social distances in order to prevent coronavirus spread.

On Wednesday, Bangladesh recorded 1,541 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 38,292. During this time, 22 more people died of coronavirus, taking death to 544.
