Khaleda Zia Suffering From Fever: Fakhrul

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital, has been suffering from fever since Thursday night.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir disclosed the information while addressing a press conference on the upcoming budget for the 2021-22 fiscal year at BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office, reports media. 

Fakhrul, however, said that the health condition of the former prime minister is stable with her health parameters reading normal.

A medical panel will review her new symptom which manifested on Thursday night, he said.

The 76-year-old former prime minister was admitted to Evercare Hospital on Apr 27 after she tested positive for COVID-19.

She was later moved to the CCU on May 3 with respiratory distress.

She later tested negative for the coronavirus, but she is still suffering from other health complications.
