BNP to Express Reaction to Proposed Budget Today

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will formally express today (Friday) its reaction to the proposed budget for 2021-22FY.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Thursday placed a lofty Tk 6,036.81 billion (Tk 6.03 trillion) budget for 2021-22 fiscal, reports media. 

Ruling Awami League is happy with the budget while other political parties, business bodies, and think tanks expressed mixed reactions.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will make reaction to the budget at a press conference to be held at party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office at 11 am.
