Quader Calls upon Countrymen to Accept Temporary Sufferings

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has called upon the people to accept the temporary sufferings during weeklong strict restrictions for safe lives.

He made the call at a regular briefing at his official residence on Thursday (July 1) morning.

At the same time, he said, the Sheikh Hasina government has decided to take strict restrictions on the advice of experts to protect the people as the coronavirus infection has reached a pick.

The general secretary of the Awami League called upon the government to take initiative for the helpless and unemployed people as well as private and voluntary organizations and the able-bodied to come forward. Mentioning that the Prime Minister has been leading efficiently in various disasters and crises in the country, Obaidul Quader said her decision is dedicated to the welfare of the people.

Obaidul Quader thinks there is no alternative but to follow the highest degree of awareness and caution in a situation where hundreds of deaths and high levels of infection have been reported in the last few days in Coronavirus.
