State Minister Palak, Two Sons Catch Covid-19

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Junaid Ahmed Palak tested positive for Covid-19 along with his two sons.

The state minister himself made the announcement in a Facebook post on Tuesday night (January 4).

He wished blessings to all for his family and urged everyone to follow the hygiene rules.

Palak recently returned from a tour of Canada and the United States.

Shahidul Alam Majumdari, public relations officer of ICT department, said that the state minister is at home.

Junaid Ahmed was scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Indian High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswamy on Wednesday (January 5th) to discuss cooperation and collaboration in the IT sector. It was canceled last night.
