Asaduzzaman Noor Hospitalised with COVID-19

Lawmaker and actor Asaduzzaman Noor have been infected with COVID-19 for the second time and admitted to a private hospital in the city, reports media.

Tanim Ahmed, a physician of the parliament medical centre, confirmed this on Monday.

The sample test result of Asaduzzaman Noor came on Sunday where he was found positive for the virus. He was admitted to the hospital on Monday for extra care, according to the sources.

Asaduzzaman Noor, a former Cultural Affairs Minister (from 2014-2019)  and multiple time elected MP from Nilphamari-2 of Awami League, was first infected with coronavirus in December 2020. 

He is currently a member of the parliamentary standing committee on the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
