Khaleda Zia Will Be Taken to Hospital at Noon

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia will be taken to Evercare Hospital in the capital on Wednesday (April 8) for a checkup.

Confirming the information, Shamsuddin Didar, a member of the chairperson's press wing, said Khaleda Zia would be taken to Evercare Hospital after 3 pm today. She will be checked up there.

Earlier, Khaleda Zia returned home on the night of February 1 after 81 days of treatment at Evercare Hospital. He is staying at his Gulshan residence 'Firoza'.

On April 11, 2021, four days after Khaleda Zia's corona tested positive, a CT scan was performed at Evercare Hospital. She was later admitted to the hospital on the night of April 26. On June 19, she returned home. She was admitted to Evercare Hospital again on October 12 due to fever. At that time a small tumor was found in her hand. Then on November 7, she returned home.

After returning home from the hospital in the second phase, she did not stay long. After six days, Khaleda Zia was again admitted to Evercare Hospital on the afternoon of November 13 last year. She was taken to CCU the next morning due to her deteriorating condition. She was undergoing treatment there.
