People's Happiness Makes BNP Sad: Quader

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said happiness of the country's people makes BNP sad, reports BSS.

He expressed his satisfaction over the comparatively easy commuting of people to and from the capital marking the Eid as the condition of the highways was much better than any previous time.

Obaidul Quader, who is also the general secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, said this while talking to newsmen after inspecting the work to turn Narayanganj link road into six lanes in Sign Board area today.

"People made their Eid commuting with ease this time and they are not facing any suffering during coming back to their workplaces also. BNP got hurt as people did not go through any suffering this time. Whenever people become happy, BNP becomes sad," the minister said.

Terming Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as a crisis manager, the Awami League general secretary said the premier has tackled and still tackling any crisis through her far-sighted politics.
