BNP Leaders In Jamuna For Meeting With CA

Before the start of the state reform process, a delegation led by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has arrived in Jamuna to meet with the advisory council of the interim government headed by Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

The delegation, which includes Mirza Fakhrul Islam and other members, entered Jamuna at around 2:15 PM today (October 5).

The six-member delegation consists of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, party Standing Committee members Dr. Moin Khan, Dr. Khondokar Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, and Salauddin Ahmed.

Previously, on August 29, the BNP delegation met with the chief adviser of the interim government to discuss current issues in the country. Meanwhile, the chief adviser is also scheduled to hold discussions with other parties, including Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Ganatantra Mancha, Islami Oikya Jote, Democratic Left Alliance, and AB Party.

Since the formation of the interim government on August 8, two rounds of meetings have already taken place between the advisory council and representatives of political parties. The last discussion with the parties was held by Dr. Yunus on August 31. Today (October 5), a new round of discussions has commenced as part of this ongoing process.
