The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens Committee have announced a series of events, including leaflet distribution, rallies, and public outreach programs, from January 6 to 11 to raise awareness about the 'July Proclamation.'

On Saturday, January 4, during a press conference held at the central office in Bangla Motor, the leader of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Hasnat Abdullah, made the announcement.

Hasnat mentioned that, in support of the Proclamation of Revolution, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens Committee will carry out various programs across the country from January 6 to 11, including mass outreach activities.

He further stated that on December 31, at Shahid Minar, during the March for Unity, they demanded the announcement of the July Proclamation by January 15. An interim government has been established, and he believes that this proclamation will reflect the aspirations of the people, similar to the people's involvement in the revolution.

Hasnat added that they aim to connect with the people, engaging with educational institutions and professional sectors throughout the country. Both the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens Committee will work together on this initiative.

He also expressed concern that the government has not shown visible progress regarding the proclamation and emphasized the need for discussions with all stakeholders involved in the revolution. He urged the government to start working on this important issue promptly, stating that they are ready to provide full cooperation.

Hasnat further stated that the fascist government had oppressed the people and expressed the desire to reach out to marginalized communities.

The press conference was also attended by Nasiruddin Patwari, the chairman of the National Citizens Committee.
