The three-day-long Asia Regional Youth Festival 2019 will begin on September 11 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in a bid to empower young people in the region to hold our governments accountable to international human rights commitments.

Asian Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (ARROW) will organize the festival ‘Asia Regional Youth Festival 2019: Building the Next Generation Movement for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’, said a press release.

The festival will see young people, youth advocates, and activists from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Malaysia, and Myanmar.

The three-day festival will have trainings, workshops, group discussions, and leadership training. It will also provide creative spaces so young people can express their ideas on SRHR through art exhibitions, poetry slamming and music.
