Jubo League expels Khaled Bhuiyan

Jubo League yesterday expelled its Dhaka South Organizing Secretary Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan,  for breaching the organisation’s discipline and his involvement in anti-social activities, said a press release of the organisation.

Earlier, Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan was arrested by the elite force for running a casino,

The release added that the decision was made at the central committee meeting of the Jubo League, the youth wing of the ruling Awami League.  

On Wednesday, Rab arrested Khaled for running a casino in Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club. Khaled, also president of the club, was placed on a seven-day remand on Thursday. 

In a fresh raid, Rab busted a torture cell that he allegedly run in a building near Kamalapur Railway Station early Thursday. They also recovered different tools for torture, including two machines to apply electric shock and five sticks
