Mosaddek to return to Dhaka

Bangladesh cricketer Mosaddek Hossain will return to Dhaka due to a family emergency, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) informed.

Despit named in the Test squad, Mosaddek he will return with seven of the T20 team returnees. Mohammad Naim, Shafiul Islam, Soumya Sarkar, Arafat Sunny, Afif Hossain, Aminul Islam, Abu Hider along with Mosaddek will board a flight for Delhi at 1:00 pm local time on Monday. They are expected to fly from Delhi tomorrow.

The Test team will fly to Indore at 11:40 am local time on Monday. The first Test is slated for November 14 and Mosaddek’s participation for the Tests remains in doubt with Tigers set to begin their Test Championship with the Indore Test. The management has not decided whether a replacement will be required.
