Seven killed in Munshiganj bus-microbus crash

A clash between a bus and a microbus has left seven people dead in Munshiganj's Sreenagar Upazila.

The incident was reported around 2pm on Friday (Nov 22) from the upazila’s Sholghar Bus Stand area, said Munshiganj Superintendent of police Jayedul Alam to our correspondent.

Identifications of the victims could not be known immediately.

SP Alam said, a Dhaka bound microbus conflicted with Shadhin Paribahan bus in the area left seven people dead.

Some other passengers of the bus and a person from the microbus were also injured in the incident, he said. 

Rescue operations are still going on, he added.
