87.90 pc Pass JSC, 95.50 pc PEC Exams

The results of this year’s Primary Education Completion (PEC), Junior School Certificate (JSC) and their equivalent examinations were published on Tuesday.  

The results show that 90.50 percent of students came out successful in the PEC and its equivalent Ebtedayee examinations while 87.90 percent in the JSC and its equivalent Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni announced the results of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC ) examinations at a press briefing at the secretariat.

“A total of 22,87,271 students came out successful in the JSC and JDC examinations this year which was 22,30,829 in 2018. Besides, 78,429 students obtained GPA 5 while the number was 68,095 in the previous year,” the minister said.

In another press briefing, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education said Jakir Hossen announced the results of the PEC and Ebtedayee examinations.

“Some 3,26,088 students obtained GPA 5 in the PEC and its equivalent examinations while the number was 68,095 in the previous year,” the he said.
