WarnerMedia is bringing together its "Friends" cast for an untitled, unscripted special for its upcoming streaming service, HBO Max, the company said on Friday.

AT&T Inc's WarnerMedia said here series stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer will be back at the Warner Bros studio lot in Burbank, California for the hit comedy's original soundstage, Stage 24.

There have been a flood of media reports about a possible wedding since last year Aniston suggested that there might be something going on.

Aniston talked to chat show host Ellen DeGeneres regarding a potential television series entitled "Friends" saying: "We'd love to see it there, so we don't know what it is. But we're trying. It we focus on.'

The unscripted cast reunion special, directed by Ben Winston and all the 10 seasons of the Emmy-winning series, will be available to subscribers at HBO Max's launch in May.

The Wall Street Journal said earlier this month that the six stars would receive $2.25 million to $2.5 million as part of the deal.
