President for Utilizing Maldives’s Tourism Sector Experience in Bangladesh

President M Abdul Hamid emphasized the use of Maldive's experience in the thriving tourism sector in Bangladesh.

The president made the statement on Tuesday evening as Rear Admiral Nazmul Hassan, newly appointed High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the Maldives, paid a courtesy call to him in Bangabhaban.

President Hamid also asked the new high commissioner to take necessary steps in this regard.

“Take necessary measures so that Bangladesh can develop its tourism sector by using the experience of the Maldives,” the head of the state told Bangladeshi envoy.

Throughout his assignment in the Maldives, Admiral Nazmul Hassan received the all-out support of the President.

Giving a patient hearing to the new high commissioner, the president assured him of providing all-necessary supports to brighten Bangladesh’s image abroad.

Bangabhaban secretaries and foreign ministry officials concerned, among others, were present during the meet.
