Five People Killed As Tree Falls on Easy-Bike in Dhamrai

Five people were killed when a roadside tree fell on the Kalampur-Mirzapur Regional Highway near Balia in Dhamrai, on the outskirts of the capital today.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

The human hauler's ill-fated passengers returned their homes from the office of Balia union Parishad after participating in an old-age pension selection program, local people said.

Locals said a tree was dropping on the truck as contract workers were chopping down the area's roadside trees. The incident occurred attributed to the farm's carelessness.
