Number of Coronavirus Cases in Germany Rises to 48,582

In Germany, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases has increased to 48,582 and 325 people have died from the disease, figures from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases on Saturday revealed.
Cases jumped by 6,294 relative to the day before although the death rate rose by 55, the count shows.
