Mild Earthquake Jolts Chittagong

A mild earthquake happened in Myanmar's Kale, along the Bangladesh border, the impact of which could be felt in Chittagong on Thursday afternoon.

According to the US Geological Survey, the tremor measured 5.9 on the Richter scale and happened at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.

The tremor was felt in Chittagong, Bandarban, Rangamati, and Khagrachhari in the south and south-eastern part of the country, according to our district correspondent.
