SC to Continue Virtual Operation till June 15

Both divisions of the Supreme Court will continue their operation in accordance with the practical direction of the apex court.

The decision was taken after discussions between the Chief Justice and the other Judges of the Supreme Court, according to a notice from the apex court signed by its Registrar General, Md Ali Akbar.

On 10 May, the apex court issued 15 instructions for the Appellate Division and another 15 for the High Court Division to conduct court proceedings through videoconferencing.

Meanwhile, Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has today set up 11 benches for trial in the High Court Division, virtually until 15 June.
