PHP Automobiles Unveils Proton 'Talking Car'

PHP Automobiles Limited, a subsidiary of PHP Family, has assembled the Proton X70 model across the country. The car is also known as "Talking Car."

The locally assembled version of the car was launched in the PHP-Proton showroom adjacent to the Asian Highway in Chattogram City on Sunday.

Mohammad Mohsin, vice chairman of PHP Family, told The Business Norm that the vehicle will immediately follow verbal orders from the driver of the car.

"When you want to open or shut the window, it will function appropriately. Whether you choose to listen to some music of your choice or wish to reduce the temperature of the AC, it will obey the instructions and bring the commands into action," he said.

He continued, "All the modern technologies have been integrated into this car. There is a 1.5-litre turbo engine, seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with manual mode, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera and parking sensor, auto dual-zone air-conditioning, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system and air purifier."

He said they were pioneers to bring such a sophisticated car in Bangladesh.

With the brand new 2020 model of Proton X70, the customers will get 5-year warranty and free service.

The car is available at PHP Automobile showrooms at Tejgaon Link Road and Kakrail in Dhaka, and in Chattogram and Sylhet.
