Hajj pilgrims who had intended to perform Hajj under government or private administration and who had deposited registration money may apply for refund after July 12.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Secretariat chaired by Nurul Islam, Secretary of Religious Affairs, on Wednesday.

The Ministry also announced that pre-registration and registration for Hajj made this year will be effective as pre-registration and registration for 2021 (1442 Hizri) as well.

Additionally, if the expense of the Hajj kit rises or falls in 2021, it will be compared to the existing amount of money deposited by the Hajj pilgrims.

Hajj pilgrims wishing to withdraw their registration money must apply online to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and their money will be refunded without deducting any service charges.

However, if their pre-registration is cancelled, they will have to re-register to do Hajj again.
