Quader Urges Youth Leaders to Stand By Poor during Corona Crisis

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader urged youth leaders to stand by the needy during the coronavirus crisis on Monday.

"The whole world is experiencing a tough circumstance as a consequence of this corona pandemic. Now it's high time for the courageous youth to stand for the poor and vulnerable, "Quader said.

He made remarks in a video conference from his official residence before the distribution of cooked meals among the poor at the initiative of Tanbir Hasan Shaikat, a former member of the Dhaka University Central Student Union (Ducsu) in front of the Raju memorial sculpture of the Dhaka University.

The AL General Secretary said that the government has taken all necessary measures to monitor the coronavirus situation under the oversight of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. "Our Prime Minister has been working tirelessly and is monitoring the situation to protect everyone in the country."

Praising the Awami League leaders’ activists he said the leaders and activists of Awami League and its allies have set a rare example in relief operations in the corona crisis, said Quader.
