Average Life Expectancy of Bangladeshis Rises to 72.6

The average life expectancy of Bangladeshi people increased to 72.6 years in 2019, compared to 72.3 years in 2018, according to the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) survey.

The study entitled 'Monitoring the situation of Bangladesh's vital statistics (MSVSB)' was published today via an online programme.

AKM Ashraful Haq, project director of the MSVSB, presented the report.

Planning Minister MA Mannan joined the program as the chief guest.
