42nd Special BCS to Appoint 2,000 Doctors

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has begun preparation to hold another special Bangladesh Civil Service (BSC) examination for appointing doctors.

The government will hold 42nd BCS examination in a bid to appoint 2,000 doctors.

A draft amending regulation has already been accepted at the BPSC meeting, according to a media report.

Confirming the matter, PSC Chairman Dr Muhammad Sadique said, “A new demand letter has been sent from the Ministry of Public Administration in appointing physicians. And we have received the letter. Accordingly, a draft has been prepared to amend existing regulations for holding a special BCS exam at a meeting on Monday.”  

"The members of the PSC have already accepted the matter which will be referred to the Ministry of Public Administration. The 42nd BCS (Special) Exam will be arranged after approval by the Ministry concerned. The BPSC will also issue a guideline for the execution of the test, "he said.
