Fire at Indian Parliament Annex Building

On Monday morning, a fire broke out in the annex building of the Indian Parliament. The blaze on the 6th floor of the parliament buildings was sparked by a short circuit.

After seven fire tenders raced to the spot, the blaze went down after a moment. No casualties were confirmed in the Parliament fire accident, reports India Today.

The Delhi Fire Service official said that the fire broke out on the sixth floor of the building.

A call was received at 7:30 a.m. and the fire is believed to have begun during a short-circuit. The fire was put under control, Atul Garg, Director of the Delhi Fire Service, said.
