Global Coronavirus Death Toll Climbs to 817,005

A total of 817,005 people died from coronavirus worldwide in 213 countries and territories since the virus originated in China's Wuhan last December, according to the latest data from the worldometer.

So far, 23,809,241 individuals tested positive for coronavirus at 10:00 a.m. till Tuesday (GMT 04:00 a.m.). Among them, 16,359,043 patients were deemed recovered, according to the source.

Apart from this, the number of active cases are 6,633,193.

With a fresh update of nearly 72 hours, 13,804 patients died of coronavirus, 689,025 infections were reported and 645,789 patients were completely recovered.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 181,114 deaths, followed by Brazil with 115,451, Mexico 60,800, India 58,546, Italy 35,441, France 30,528, Iran 20,776, Russia 16,448, Indonesia 6,759, Pakistan 6,224, Bangladesh 3,983, Saudi Arabia 3,691, UAE 376 and Malaysia 125 respectively, worldometer reported.
