Covid-19: 21 More Die, Test Positive 2,199, Recover 1,117 in 24 hours

Bangladesh reported an additional 2,199 coronavirus cases in 24 hours on Saturday, raising the total number of infections to 239,860.

The country reported the death of 21 new victims, which increased the total number of deaths to 3,132.

Health authorities reported that another 1,117 people recovered from the disease per day, taking the total number of recoveries to 136,253.

Prof. Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director-General of the Directorate-General for Health Services (DGHS), provided the details in his daily health briefing.
