3 Killed As Bus, Pick-Up Van Collide in Dhamrai

Three people were killed in a head-on crash between a commuter bus and a pick-up van in the Dhamrai area of Bathuli, on the outskirts of Dhaka, on Sunday morning.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Confirming the news, Md Monirul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Golra Highway Police Station, said that the Manikganj-bound passenger bus of ‘Falguni Paribahan’ collides with the Dhaka-bound pick-up van carrying them coming from the opposite direction on Dhaka-Aricha highway at 8:00 am, leaving three passengers of the van dead on the spot.
