Country’s Literacy Rate up to 74.7 Percent: State minister

On Sunday, Minister of Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain revealed that the country's literacy rate has risen to 74.7%, adding that the rate is increasing gradually.
The rate is increasing steadily due to the multifaceted initiatives implemented by the current government, "he said in a press conference at the Secretariat marking International Literacy Day 2020.
