Global COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 882,053

According to Johns Hopkins University's Centre for System Science and Engineering, the global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 882.053 as of  Monday morning.

In addition, 7,002,224 cases of Covid-19 were confirmed across the globe.

While new infection cases currently continue to rise among the infected world population, most of them are in mild condition.

Worldometer records in its daily updates of the actually 7,029,856 infected patients 6,969,894 are in mild condition, which is 99 per cent.

On the other hand, 59,962 of the patients actually infected are in critical condition, and their number is only one.

So far, 18,054,580 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 32 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Sunday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 4,479.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 325,157 as 1,592 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
