Road Accident Kills Four in Habiganj

Four people were killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway in the Noapara area of Madhabpur Upazila in Habiganj.

One of the deceased is a woman. 

The accident happened on Monday afternoon.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Madhabpur Police Station Iqbal Hossain said the accident took place when a truck and a microbus collided head-on in the Noapara area. 

The identities of the deceased, however, could not be known yet, the OC added. 

Shayestaganj Highway police, Madhabpur Police and Fire Service personnel were jointly conducting the rescue operations.
