Global COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 891,240

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, the global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 891,240 on Tuesday morning.

In addition, 27,255,750 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed worldwide.

Although cases of new infection are still on the rise among the infected world population, most of them are in mild condition.

Among currently 7,001,547 infected patients, 6,941,322 are in mild condition, which is 99 percent, according to Worldometer's daily updates.

On the other hand, 60,225 of the patients actually infected are in critical condition and their number is just one.

So far, 18,243,509 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 37 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours on Monday, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 4.516.

In addition, the number of infections has risen to 327,359, with 2,202 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours.
