Global Coronavirus Deaths Reach 992,984

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 992,984 as of Sunday morning.

In addition, around the world, 32,747,374 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

Worldometer reports in its daily updates that 7,584,875 of the 7,650,179 patients actually infected are in moderate condition, which is 99 percent.

65,304 of the actually infected patients, on the other hand, are in critical condition and their percentage is only one.

So far, 22,615,494 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, as of Saturday, 36 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 5,129.

In addition, the infection tally has risen to 357,873 as 1,106 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
