US-Bangla to Resume Flights on Dhaka-Muscat Route from Oct 1

As of October 1, after six months of forced suspension of Covid-19, US-Bangla Airlines has agreed to restart its daily flight operations on the Dhaka-Muscat route.

A statement released on Sunday said that the private airline plans to operate two flights per week from Dhaka to Muscat, Oman while ensuring all the health protection guidelines issued by the governments of Bangladesh and Oman.

Kamrul Islam, the airline spokesperson, said: "Muscat-bound flights will leave Dhaka every week on Monday and Thursday at 10:00 pm."

"At 8:30 am (local time) on Tuesdays and Fridays, the return flight will leave Muscat for Dhaka."

US-Bangla Airlines currently has a total of 13 aircraft, including six new ATR 72-600 aircraft, three Dash 8-Q400 aircraft, and four Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

One international flight a week from Dhaka to Guangzhou and two international flights to Kuala Lumpur are also operated by US-Bangla Airlines.
