26 More COVID-19 Deaths, New Cases 1488

Bangladesh has confirmed 26 more deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

The country's death toll from the virus now stands at 5,219 said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the last 24 hours, 1,488 people tested positive for Covid-19 and the number of new cases of coronavirus in the country now stands at 3,62,043.

The country's first cases were reported on 8 March this year and the first virus death was reported on 18 March.
