Ferry Services on Shimulia-Kathalbari Route Suspended Again

Ferries on the Shimulia-Kathalbari route were suspended again at noon on Monday.

BIWTC's Kanthalbari Ghat boss, Abdul Alim, said a K-type and small 4/5 ferries had been flying since Monday morning. Due to the low water level, the K-type ferry was stuck several times at Kishori Dubochar around noon. The authorities have since suspended the ferry service.
