BNP Leader Rizvi's Health Improves

The health condition of senior joint secretary general of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, who was hospitalized earlier after suffering from heart disease, has improved.  

The BNP leader is receiving normal food today.

BNP chairperson's media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed this to media.

Earlier on Tuesday noon, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi felt chest pain after attending a human chain program in front of the National Press Club in the capital.

He rushed to Islami Bank Hospital at Kakrail soon after his physical ailment.

After primary treatment at Islami Bank Hospital, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi was shifted to the city's Lab Aid Hospital.

The senior BNP leader is now receiving treatment at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Lab Aid Hospital under the supervision of Cardiologist Prof Dr APM Sohrabuzzaman.

Rizvi was in critical condition yesterday but he is feeling well from this morning.
