National Zoo to Reopen from November 1

The government has decided to reopen the National Zoo in Dhaka for the visitors maintaining proper health guidelines amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Fisheries and Livestock Ministry disclosed the information in a press release on Thursday.

If anyone wants to visit the zoo, he/she must have to maintain the social distancing rule, go through a disinfectant tunnel and temperature should be measured, the release said.

The number of daily visitors should not exceed 2,000 and the zoo will remain open from 9:00am to 3:00pm, the release added.

Earlier on March 20, the government shut down the National Zoo for the visitors to contain the spread of coronavirus.
