15 More COVID-19 Deaths, 1,527 New Cases

In the last 24 hours, Bangladesh has reported 15 more deaths from the novel coronavirus.

The country's death toll from the virus now stands at 5,623, a press release released by the Health Services Directorate General (DGHS) said.

1,527 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours and the number of novel cases of coronavirus in the country now stands at 3,86,086.

On March 8 this year, the country's maiden cases were reported and on March 18, the first death from the virus was reported.
