Parliament Goes into 10th Session on Nov 8

The tenth session of the 11th parliament will begin on November 8.

This session will continue following strict hygiene like other sessions during coronavirus pandemic.

This session may be a special one marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Parliament sources confirmed this to journalists on Tuesday.

The last session of the parliament was prorogued September 10 having only five sittings.

The ninth session that began on September 6 passed six laws.

According to the constitution, there can be a maximum of 60 days’ gap between the end of a session and the beginning of the next one.
