MTB Signs MoU with Sheba Platform

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sheba Platform Limited (SPL) at a simple ceremony held at the MTB Centre in the city, said a release.

Under the agreement, SPL and MTB will jointly undertake to provide a state-of-the-art, advanced and hassle-free digital banking experience with the ultimate aim of fostering micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the country in the coming days.

Adnan Imtiaz Halim, CEO, Sheba Platform Limited (SPL), and Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO, Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB), signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

SManager, a dedicated SPL digital platform, will enable customers to open their accounts at their convenience from anywhere using MEasy and apply for MTB loans.

Additional Managing Directors, Syed Rafiqul Haq & Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Head of SME & Retail Banking, Md. Shafquat Hossain, Chief Digital Officer, Shyamol Boran Das and Head of MTB Communications Department, Azam Khan of MTB along with other senior officials from both the organizations were also present at the ceremony.
