World Coronavirus Death Toll Reaches 1,301,021

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,301,021 as of Saturday morning.

In addition, around the world, 53,281,350 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the 14,909,523 patients actually infected, 14,800,071 are in moderate conditions, which is 99 percent, according to Worldometer's daily updates.

On the other hand, 109,452 of the patients actually infected are in critical condition and their percentage is only one.

So far, 34,394,294 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 19 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Friday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 6,159.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 4,28,965 as 1,767 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
