Coronavirus: Global Deaths Reach 1,316,502

According to data from the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global death count from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,316,502 as of Monday morning.

In addition, around the world, 54,326,211 Covid-19 cases have been reported.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the currently 15,354,249 infected patients 15,255,424 are in mild condition, which is 99 per cent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

98,825 of the currently infected patients, on the other hand, are in critical condition, and their percentage is only one.

34,921,371 people have recovered so far.

In Bangladesh, during the last 24 hours as of Sunday, 21 more Covid-19 patients died, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 6,194.

In addition, the infection tally has risen to 432,333 as 1,837 new case were  reported in the last 24 hours.
