Coronavirus: Global Deaths Reach 1,336,793

According to data from the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global death count from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,336,793 as of Wednesday morning. 

In addition, around the world, 55,552,505 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

In its daily updates, Worldometer estimates that 15,534,296 of the 15,634,983 patients actually infected are in mild condition, which is 99 percent.

100,687 of the currently infected patients, on the other hand, are in critical condition, and there is just one percent.

So far, 35,730,510 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 39 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Tuesday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 6,254.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 436,684 as 2,212 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
