Global Coronavirus Death Toll Reaches 1,359,599

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global count of deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,359,599 as of Friday morning.

In addition, around the world, 56,834,187 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the 16,145,484 patients currently infected, 16,043,688 are in mild condition, which is 99 percent, reported in its daily updates by Worldometer.

On the other hand, of the currently infected patients, 101,796 are in critical condition, and there is just one percent.

So far, 36,478,064 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 30 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Thursday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 6,305.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 441,159 as 2,364 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
