4 Held With 15,000 Yaba Pills in City’s Jatrabari

Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested on Thursday night four drug traffickers with 15.000 pieces of Yaba pills from the Jatrabari area of the city.

The arrestees were identified as Rashid, 50, Rubel Khan, 27, Rezaul Karim, 25 and Kausar Hawlader, 24.  

Abdulah Al Mamun, Assistant Commissioner of the Detective Branch of Police (Motijheel zone), said acting on a tip-off, a team of Illegal Drug and Arms Recovery Department, conducted the drive at Bibir Bagicha area of Jatrabari and arrested them with Yaba tablets.

A case was filed against them with Jatrabari police station, he said.
