World Coronavirus Death Toll Reaches 1,369,905

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,369,905 as of Saturday morning.  

In addition, around the world, 57,441,503 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

In its daily updates, Worldometer estimates that 16,319,385 of the currently 16,421,592 infected patients are in mild condition, which is 99 percent.

102,207 of the already infected patients, on the other hand, are in critical condition, and their percentage is only one.

So far, 36,814,406 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 17 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Friday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 6,322.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 443,434 as 2,275 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
