RAB Arrests 'Golden Monir' in City; Drugs, Arms Recovered

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested gold and car businessman "Golden Monir" from his house in the capital's Merul Badda area.

Earlier, RAB-3 led by its Executive Magistrate, Palash Kumar Basu, began about 10 p.m. on Friday, said Lieutenant Colonel Ashik Billah, director of the RAB (media wing).

The team also recovered a large amount of gold ornaments, cash, drugs and arms from his house.

The elite force will provide details of the drive at a press conference to be held about 11:00 a.m.
